Time to vote for the OCBFC Official Newsletter Title The voting site is up and ready for your vote. You can only choos one option and you can only vote once. If you do not confirm your name and email your vote will not be counted, and only OCBFC and OCBFC Online members can vote. So hurry you only have until 24 OCT 98. That is the last day to cast your vote, the page will go down at midnight Pacific Time on the 24th of October 1998. (09 OCT 98)

HO HO HO!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Yes, its only September, but hey if you don't think ahead life sneaks up on you. The club is sponsoring a Christmas package for Catherine, with a very special gift (if you want to know what it is email us, we want it to be a surprise), and cards from her fans. If you would like to send her a personal card, you can mail it to the fan club at: OCBFC Attn: Merry Christmas Catherine! P.O. Box 50357 New Orleans, Louisiana 70151-0357 Also, if you would like to contribute to her gift, you may, separate from a card (if you choose to send one), mail us a check or money order, drawn on a US bank in US funds, made out to Virginia F. Badeaux to the above address with the attention line, ATTN: Christmas Project. Also, we are opening the option to email the OCBFC your Christmas message and it will be placed in a book and sent with the gift and cards. (24 SEP 98)

Note: A tour at Camp Pendleton will be held on October 20th. For all those who would like to attend please e-mail me by Sep 30th. The only fee is the $3.20 for lunch in the Chowhall. We will be meeting at the Main Gate at 9am and the tour starts at 9:30. The bus will leave without you so be prompt. The tour will end between 3 and 3:30pm. HERE IT IS! The fees for membership to the Official Catherine Bell Fan Club were voted upon in the AUG 14 meeting. The fees cover the costs of the New Member Protfolios and postage on them and your newsletter subscription. In the US (and US Territories) the fee is $20. Canada and Mexico $25. Foreign Countries (Overseas) $30. This is the initial membership price for a one year membership, renewal memberships are incrementally lower. (20 AUG 98)

We are proud to announce the addition of the JAG - OCBFC Chat Room to the site. Everyone feel free to go by the site get a handle and chat away. The meeting on the 14th of August will be held in this room at 7pm Eastern Standard Time (US). We invite all members to join us for the first officers meeting of the OCBFC. (20 AUG 98)

The OCBFC will officially begin business (offline) on 01 JANUARY 1999. If you send your membership in prior, it will not begin until that time. The mailing of the newsletters and the OCBFC Member Portfolio will be sent out on the first business day of the new year. (20 AUG 98)

Reviews of Catherine's movies and your favorite episodes of JAG (second and third season only please), are needed for the upcoming newsletter. Please read the Review Guidelines and submit your reviews as soon as possible. (09 AUG 98)

The officers are beginning installation of area coordinators for the organization. Foreign Coordinators are desperately needed, and we also need US counterparts to assist in administrative duties for the foreign coordinators (if needed). Email the President if you wouldbe interested in assisting. (04 AUG 98)

We are so excited to announce our OFFICIAL status; that was bestowed upon us on the thirtieth of July 1998. Those of you anticipating the start of application acceptance will be pleased to know there is an anticipated date, the first of January 1999. There is a lot of work involved in taking this organization offline, we hope this date will give us enough time to have everything ready for the response. On this site you will find the application for the group, though the address to send them to is not included at this time (it will posted the last week of Decmeber 1998). Please feel free to download the page at your leisure, please note, also, the membership fee is not included on this page and will not be included until after it is confirmed by Catherine and her manager.
